JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb recently inaugurated the Rixos Murjana Resort at King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh.
The project was supported by the Kingdom’s Tourism Development Fund as an investor and financier, in partnership with Emaar, the Economic City, as co-investors, and FTG Development company as the project developer.
The resort, the largest all-inclusive resort in the Kingdom, will welcome visitors from both within the Kingdom and abroad, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
The inauguration was attended by Qusai Al-Fakhri, CEO of the fund, and Rixos Hotels Chairman Fettah Tamince.
The resort offers 488 rooms and suites with sea views, 33 villas, a fitness center, a sports complex, and meeting and conference facilities.
The project is expected to create 250 jobs for Saudi nationals, the SPA stated.
