Amaala, Saudi Arabia’s ultra-luxury wellness destination developed by Red Sea Global (RSG), is preparing to welcome guests with nine hotels set to open in the “coming months”, the developer revealed on the opening day of the Tourise event in Riyadh.
Phase one of the US$13.6 billion (SAR51.04 billion) project will debut with six resorts, followed by three additional properties. The opening phase will also introduce a yacht club, marine life institute, state-of-the-art marina, the Marina Village and the Wellness Route, a five-kilometre linear park linking resorts and experiences through natural landscapes.
The first six hotels include Equinox, Four Seasons, Nammos, Rosewood, Six Senses and RSG’s signature Amaala Hotel. They will be joined later by Clinique La Prairie, Jayasom and The Ritz-Carlton, bringing the total to 1,600 keys across the nine resorts.
Commenting on the roll out, John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, described Amaala as the “new home for wellness in the world”.
Located on Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast, Amaala complements its sister destination The Red Sea, which began welcoming guests in 2023 and recently opened its first hotels on Shura Island. More
