Saudi Arabia had 122 million domestic and international visitors in 2025, a 5% increase year over year, according to figures released this week by the Ministry of Tourism.
Tourism spending in the kingdom gained 6%, reaching nearly 300 billion riyals ($81 billion). The data was confirmed by Tourism Minister Ahmed Al Khateeb in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday.
Saudi’s Vision 2030 goal is for 150 million visitors — 80 million domestic and 70 million international. Saudi did not release a breakdown of the mix of visitors in 2025.
Tourism currently accounts for 5% of the country’s gross domestic product, Al Khateeb said. The kingdom aims to double this figure by 2030, reaching a 10% contribution as part of its broader economic diversification strategy.
