Saudi Arabia’s Flyadeal launches Riyadh–Neom flights

Low-cost carrier service operates four times per week

Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier Flyadeal has launched a new domestic route connecting Riyadh with Neom in the kingdom’s northwest region.

The service operates four times a week, from Sunday to Wednesday, between King Khalid International Airport (RUH) and Neom Bay Airport (NUM).

Flights depart Riyadh at 17:45, arriving in Neom at 20:00, while the return leg leaves at 21:00, landing in Riyadh at 23:10. The route is operated by an Airbus A320, configured with 186 all-economy seats.

Riyadh marks Flyadeal’s second route to Neom, adding to its existing twice-weekly flights from Dammam. The service is aimed at commuter and workforce traffic supporting ongoing infrastructure developments in the region.

Located along the Red Sea in the Tabuk Province, Neom is one of the kingdom’s flagship projects, with development focused on sustainable tourism and futuristic urban living. The destination features projects such as Trojena, a planned mountain resort set to introduce outdoor ski slopes.

Lloyd Misquitta, Flyadeal Acting Chief Commercial Officer, said: “The new Riyadh–Neom route underscores Flyadeal’s commitment to create air corridors that support the government’s drive to build significant economic infrastructure across the kingdom.”

The launch forms part of Flyadeal’s domestic expansion strategy, with the home market now accounting for 70% of the airline’s total capacity.

In February 2026, the airline added its first aircraft of the year, taking its fleet to 45 aircraft, alongside three new domestic routes from its Madinah base.
